Although always happy to support local events, being asked to Roast Chestnuts in the rain is perhaps one of the more unusual requests, �1 per bag anyone...

For anyone wishing to Roast Chestnuts we advise you prick them first, otherwise they have a tendency to explode. We knew that before we started of course.


Raising money for the Fire Widows & Children of New York Firefighters
Saturday, 6th October 2001



Oxted were deeply concerned about the World Trade centre disaster and decided to raise money to help the family's of the brave firefighters who lost their lives.

A car wash was held on the 6th of October at Clackets Lane Service Station on the M25 which raised �1,800, to be donated to the Widows and Children of the New York Firefighters.
